How do you decide who to vote for as the next Editor of The Journalist? In addition to the NUJ ballot papers that all should have received by now, there is no shortage of information available online.
If you don’t know yet how to vote, the following information sources may help:
- London Press & PR Branch hustings, 07/10/09 – one journalist’s report with live audio statements from the candidates – http://jwarren.co.uk/blog/journalist-hustings/
- London Freelance Branch – candidates give statements on their support for freelancers – http://www.londonfreelance.org/fl/journalist-candidates.html
- Official NUJ page for the election, giving candidates’ statements -

The new editor will be in position for five years, and will deliver some important changes in NUJ communications. You have about one week from today (including postal delays) so make sure your vote is counted!
