NUJ members at the Daily and Sunday Telegraph are to strike from 14-16 November over the effects of huge job cuts and the refusal of the management to negotiate changes to working practices.
Up to 250 NUJ members will take part in the first strike in national newspapers for more than a decade after new rotas were imposed on staff following the axing of more than 50 editorial jobs. Remaining staff are being expected to fill in for journalists who have been sacked.
