How do I get a press card?

All members of the NUJ are entitled to a UK press card. (If you are a member and haven’t got one, contact us. There is more information in the members only section.)

Most people find the UK card is more than enough in France although we have come across employers who insist on a French press card or try to base seniority payments on how long you have held one. We have also heard of companies insisting on a French press card for admission to press conferences. None of this should happen so if it happens to you, please let us know.
