NUJ Paris members were out demonstrating in the Breton capital Rennes too

Under a glorious blue sky Simon Coss, branch vice-chair and NEC representative for continental Europe, took to the streets with over 30,000 ’Rennais,’ including his wife Nathalie, a university lecturer ’en colère’ and sons Léo, 4 and Tom, 8 to protest at Sarkozy’s policies. Simon works as a freelance feature writer for Agence France Presse (AFP) and joined AFP collegue Céline Agniel on the march. French journalists from regional newspaper Ouest France and public service broadcaster France 3 Ouest also took part.
