How the West Was Lost

Time to rein in the bankers

This is a story of the West, part of a global village full of hard working ordinary people. But there came a time when the people were being terrorised by marauding bands of raiders who stole their money and took away their livelihoods and their homes. The gangs were holed up in the West in two well protected and impregnable strongholds known as Wall Street and the City.
One day representatives of the villagers decided they could not allow the gangs to continue to destroy their lives and decided to seek assistance. They eventually found a man prepared to help them. He was young, courageous and willing and the villagers believed in him. He became their leader but could not fight these gangs alone so he travelled around the West looking for others who might join him in a bid to liberate the villagers. He spoke so well he managed to convince six other people to join him and although they each had their own motives and objectives they agreed to form a group to combat the gangs.
They found themselves greatly outnumbered by their opponents. Although most of the villagers were grateful for all the help they could receive to stop the marauding gangs there were still some villagers opposed to outsiders. Nevertheless they set about placing obstacles and traps around the village to keep the raiders at bay. But their success was limited. Each time they fought off an attack the gangs changed tactics. It was going to be a tough and long conflict. They became known as:
